2月5日 TOEFL课学生自我介绍，老师Dinesy

老师：“Oh, you are from Korean too, aren’t you?”

我：“No, I am not.”

老师：“Oh, my god! Oh, my god!”

某日，上课前，其他课程的老师。

老师：“Are you looking for your Korean friends?”

我：“No, I am not. I am looking for Mary (She is the chairman of the ELC).”

老师：“Oh, I saw you just talked with some Korean guys. Where are you from?”

我：“China.”

老师：“Mainland China or Taiwan.”

我：“Mainland China.”

老师：“Oh, really? Your pronunciation is pretty good. Most of the Chinese guys from the mainland have strong accent when they speak English. that is why at the beginning I cannot believe that you come from Mainland China”

我心想，孤落寡闻了吧，现在中国人民英语水平普遍提高啦。

老师：“Nice to meet you.”

我：“Nice to meet you, too.”

3月8日，Sam’s Club,一对儿韩国夫妇。

韩国男人：“a ni o sai o~!”

虽然这句韩国话我听懂了，但是我还是说：“sorry，I am not Korean.”

韩国男人：“oh, Sorry.”

3月9日，银行收款台前，一个印度收款员。

收款员：“where are you from?”

我：“me? I am from China.”

收款员：“oh, really, I thought you came from Korea.”

我：“no, I am not.”

4月28日 韩国餐馆

老板娘：“a ni o sai o!”

我：“a ni o sai o, i am not a korean, i am chinese!"

走的时候... ...

我：“ a niang! ”

老板娘：“a niang, bye bye!”
